Plagiarism Culture
Jun 8th, 2009 by Clare
At first, it was some columnist from The Star who plagiarized my food blog article and kept the earning for themselves. Now I just found another of my article, this time from Kampua Talk, being plagiarized in Facebook!
Does this look familiar?
Well, it does, for me at least. I created the quiz (inspired by some quiz from elsewhere), how can I not remember, right? Someone just f***ing stole it word-by-word and put it on Facebook for everyone to take without even mentioning the source! You are damn right I am f***ing pissed! But not as pissed as the plagiarism by The Star because they don’t earn a cent from posting quizes in Facebook, do they?
For goodness’ sake, create your own quiz lar! Geez! Some people!

hi clare, i dont think i be able to take this test.. 0 will be my result.. hahaa.. anyway, have a nice week ahead… take care..
…and I never asked anyone to take this quiz. What gave you the bizarre idea? Oh ya! You’re well-known for commenting out of context because you never read the post before commenting not only in this blog. The old trick of spamming every comment box you can find in desperation for your blog traffic doesn’t work, old lady!
This shows that you really have written some really good articles. Be happy la on the other hand!
How can I be happy when they earn money out of MY article while I don’t get a cent? I am still pissed at The Star, that particular
plagiaristcolumnist!Really hor! Some people are SO shameless… When I was writing books, the other authors and publishers also stole things fro mine with at best some cosmetic changes. May lightning strike them dead!
Yalor! And and and summore dare to put their name as the author wor! If this is USA they’re going to go bankrupt with all the lawsuits you file against them hor…
Kampua gal,u are a true sibu-lang! You r just so cute n funny n I enjoy reading your blog n also your comments in STP’s. Very feisty lady!LOL!Must be all that kampua u have consumed!Hehehe!!!…
Hahahahah! Thank you thank you! I take that as a compliment!
Not only kampua, got kompia, jinumiang, kay-nerng-kor, dian pian hu, chao chai hung ngang, etc…I think must be all the red wine in the mee sua lor
Heheheheheheh!!!
Oooh .. that’s a hard one. (the first comment)
lembu punya susu, sapi dapat nama. This is seriously frustrating. If we could patent every single post we wrote, and if it wouldn’t cost that much, can just sue them.
Cakap sue senang, but there are a lot of things to consider and it’s not as easy as you’d think. Itu lawyer kamek kelakar dengan kamek lah.
I am amazed by all the confusion. : P Woww…
You are? Hahaha!
You’re the original. I still remember stumbling upon your Blog when I seached about driving patterns of Kuching people.
I work near the Star building. Do you want me to settle the plagiarist in Star for you?
It’s one thing to be proud when people plagiarised you, it means you are good. But, it’s frustrating and annoying when people claimed the works as theirs, without giving due credits, worst when they made some money doing it.. Like STP said, may lightning strike them!
