I am very particular when it comes to tarts such as egg tart because the pastry as well as the fillings must be perfect. Too crumb-y, too soggy or too sweet, fail! I like the mini egg tart they serve at Ah Yat Abalone in Genting and also the one at the dim sum place opposite KDU college in Penang. The rest are just so-so. To date, I have not eaten any better ones (or maybe my tastebuds retarded due to delicious food galore! LOL!)
One evening, someone brought mini tarts over for desserts.
The middle ones are fruit tarts with fresh cream while those surrounding them are blueberry (with cheese) tarts. They are all bite-size which I found too cute to be eaten.
But I ate them anyway. These are sold at some bakeries in Kuching but I have forgotten where. (Anyone, please enlighten
Thank you!)

Aren’t they sold at most bakeries?…Well, just don’t get called a tart!!! LOL!!
Like the picture very much! Well, the “tart-person” behind the camera does the trick, I bet! Real good photography!
Thank you! Thank you! I don’t think it’s the person behind the camera, it’s THE CAMERA that does the trick! Hahahahahahahaha!!!
Oh, these fruity tarts last time I bought from Bee’s bakery. Pricey but delicious and yes, they are too cute to be eaten!
wow… i want to eat them too! next time i go kuching, i better remember what to buy… hahaa..
And when will that be?
Hi Clare! How are you?
Yeah tarts…As soon as you mention tarts, everyone starts joking around don’t they?.. Double meanings…. and it rhymes well with certain words. Don’t start me off now
Nice photo of the tarts. Make me drooling now and wanted to get tart for breakfast. I tried tart selling at a coffee shop in Rejang Park call “Shi Fu” and it is not bad.
