We were supposed to meet up with the Moses-Lim-look-alike food ambassador for lunch on Saturday for lunch BUT shit happened and we got delayed. No I did not have diarrhoea, if that’s what you were thinking. Haha!
Kim Joo was the place we were supposed to meet up. Click over to the Moses-Lim-look-alike food ambassador’s blog for the pictures of the location. It is located somewhere on Carpenter Street and parking there is hell! Throw in scorching hot sun burning your skin and inducing sweat that makes your shirt stick to your back, you’ll melt like ais kacang!
We were quite full at that time due to having one and a half bowl of laksa each barely 2 hours ago so we only had ONE bowl of kolo mee to share.
I thought this was the shop where there is a grumpy old man and long waiting time because of the similar name. Later I found out that the one with grumpy old man and long waiting time is called Min Joo.
Pardon the pimples, I had too much heaty food for the past week.
We ordered the normal kolo mee with char sio which I did not touch. Hahaha! The taste was definitely different from what we normally have in any coffeshop around town. It was also different from Min Joo’s. It was okay and need some getting used to, taste-wise.
Chipmunk ate with abundant care! Yummy!
No we did not meet with STP here because that fella had already left by the time we reached Kim Joo. And since we were there and found a parking space, why not? We won’t normally come to this place for meals anyway. We met STP only after our lunch.

Not same as kampua lah. I think it’s nicer. Green Road’s nice but they only have char siew and minced meat…
Didn’t say they are the same ler. Very different lor. Even different from kolo mee. Green Road ar, I normally order with kiaw coz don’t like char sio.
So kesian…. kena pang poi kee. hahah
Sigh…….!!!
