Gladiator Sounds Like Alligator

When I first came across this trend some time last year, I thought the gladiator heels are hideous. I was not alone because it seemed that a lot of self-claimed fashion expert people thought so too. I thought they look like medieval torture devices! Only Kate Moss can look cool in them…
But when my best friend came back from her vacation, she wore a pair of gladiator sandals when we met up for our sampat catching up session, I thought she looked good in them. I tried her sandals on (we’re of the same size) and hey, they are pretty comfy! And I wanted to get myself a pair!
I went shopping around for the sandals for quite some time and there were not many of these gladiator sandals available in Kuching. I saw a few pairs in one of the shoe shop in Hock Lee but they are knee-high, I don’t like.
Almost knee-high gladiator sandals will make me look shorter than I already am. It’s like wearing a pair of Phua Chu Kang boots with a lot of holes! I opted for the ankle-high gladiator flats (there are a variety of pattern out there - platforms, heels, fringed, peep-toe, etc).
(Ignore the Olsen’s) The trick to pull off the gladiator well is to pair it with a short dress or shorts though some celebs wore them with long flowy gown and jeans/leggings. I still feel that short dresses or shorts are perfect for the gladiators.
I found a pair of alligator gladiator sandals that I like a few days ago! They look something like this:
Paris Hilton Bronze-something something
Mine is leather-brown instead of bronze as shown in the picture.
Now, next on my wardrobe list is a pair of jeans shorts… 
I thought that looks cool .. mind showing us urs instead of paris’?

My daughters also got a pair of those ‘gladiators’ Theirs also slightly above ankle,knee high not so nice. I think for your age would look fine but will look hideous for anyone over a certain age!er…like me .LOL! Unless u got the looks & body of Gwyneth’s or Aniston. Try wearing them with a short denim skirt,gorgeous too!
Yeah, that too! It’s like to bring out the long legs or something. Hahahaha!!!
So when is the fight?…Gladiator mah! Fight with lion, don’t have…with chipmunk, got or not? Hahahahaha!!!!
I would love to see Gladiator Vs Suituapui! heheheh… just like ultraman Vs godzilla.
