What’s In A Name?
Mar 10th, 2009 by Clare
That which we call a rose. By any other name would smell as sweet. -Romeo and Juliet-
Did you check out my article on The Sunday Post? I did (DUH!) Disappointment swept over me when I didn’t see my name on the article that I wrote but instead…
I don’t like to be fussy though. But I am very particular about how people spell my name. With an ‘i’, my name sounds French. LOL!
Pronunciation-wise, they don’t make much of a difference also.
Anyway, here’s the full online article if you missed the paper.

U shud see the different versions of my name, the worst - Author! Btw, who’s Mr W? Sounds like a great teacher. Must be nice having a teacher like that. Hahahaha!
Wah! Mai ke ke lar, you know who Mr W is what. Need me to say the obvious meh
So sorry for the additional ‘i”! Still, it’s a good read - a tribute to teachers.
Yes, STP, that Mr W is surely a great teacher - at least, my daughter also thinks so - someone who gives his students wings to fly yet rooted on morals and values.
It’s okay. No problem about that. Cheers!
By the way, Yan, you do know who Mr W is in real life right?
Hint: The one who commented before you
Sure lah! That Yan knows that Mr W only too well… Hehehehehe!!!
EHEM!!!
