By the way, I just read somewhere that the great Admiral Zheng He (better known as Laksamana Cheng Ho) was trained to be a EUNUCH!
Well, apparently at the age of ten, he was captured by Imperial troops and taken to Nanjing to be castrated and trained as eunuch. Once trained, he was shipped to Beijing to serve prince Zhu Di. The rest of the story can be found if you are hardworking enough to google it.
