I’m Sailing

“I’m sailing, I’m sailing…” ala Rod Stewart
The Ship Restaurant is the longest operating Western-themed restaurant in Malaysia.
The Ship Western restaurant was founded by Foo Hee Hoon and Foo Hee Loon. The first outlet was opened along Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. Alvin and I went there for dinner one evening when we were around the area.
A bowl of salad that came together with the set meal I ordered
The exterior of the restaurant resembles an almost life-size hull of a ship.
The mushroom soup - creamy and rich in taste. It’s lips-smacking good!
You don’t want to miss this superb Garlic Toast. No other place done it like The Ship! Bad breath factor aside, garlic bread here is perfectly done - crispy, just nice, not too strong. If I didn’t order the set meal, I’d probably have a loaf of the bread!
Alvin had black pepper chicken.
I had Charbroiled Rib Eye Steak
A tender and succulent steak served with prime vegetables, corn on cob and baked potato!
And when I cut the steak…
…the sinful juice oozing out of the delicious medium-rare steak. Now I know what it means by earth-shattering multiple orgasms for my taste buds
Down ‘em all with a glass of thick tomato juice. Yummy! I love tomato juice, especially Campbell’s
After the satisfying dinner, we just sat there and had a tete-a-tete while bird people-watching. The environment was perfect for a romantic meal with nice music and slightly dimmed lighting.
The Ship is decorated with the likeness of a sea-going vessel, services in the restaurant are provided by waiters and waitresses in maritime uniforms.
Howdy, Captain!

Congrats! I’ve just nominated you for an award. SAIL by my blog to check it out! LOL!!! Have a nice weekend!
Thank you!
You too!
Darling, honey, love, i think it’s ‘rod’ stewart….no?
I like ‘Rob’ Stewart better.
Food looks delish!
eh, can wear red liao arr? sorry if i’m ignorant but usually have to wait 100 days rite after a passing.
I went to The Ship in August. My dad was still around at that time
I haven’t been wearing red for a while now.
Yumm.. the garlic toast looks nice.
They taste nice too!
The Ships Garlic Toast is DA BEST! No other place can dare say otherwise.
My wife and I (during the early years) would go there just for the garlic toast and tom yum soup.
I agree with you on this. After that I tried a lot of garlic bread but they all come nowhere near the garlic toast from The Ship!
Wow, salivating. I wanna have earth-shattering multiple orgasms too… oh, perhaps I need to go to The Ship one day!
Hahahahahahhahaa!!! You should, and try out the garlic bread! Highly recommended!
its not the titanic I hope
No lar, Titanic bigger
Luxury!
Yupe!
Read that they used back US beef now that there’s no ban on the import. Next time you must order their Garlic sauce to go with the steak. Absolutely delicious.
Yeah, was informed by the waiter that they used beef from US too
Alright, will definitely try that next time
