Walk In Or Break In?

It happened two days ago. When I was about to step out of my house, I saw my house gate was slightly opened. With my digicam in hand (I wanted to go out), I quickly snapped a picture and moved back into the house before locking the grill door.
With my heart pounding in my chest, I peaked through every window on the ground floor to see if there was anyone around. As I was alone at home at that time (morning), I feared that the intruder(s) was still in the house compound. I saw nothing. Not even a shadow.
I saw my neighbour came out from his house with no apparent reaction so I guess there was no one in my house compound. The gate is so heavy that no wind could have blown it open like that. Besides, I made sure the latch was secured into the hole in the ground earlier.
I’m still puzzled and I’ve told no one because after I’ve checked, nothing was stolen. There was no sign of attempted break-in. No footprints. Nothing. Hmm…
*cue of X-Files theme song playing*
Someone probably walked around your house compound the night before. hmmm… Spooky… Be careful my dear…

Maybe the fella(s) was/were thinking of walk-in interview(s)? Who knows, people could get delusional… =p

poor fellow… at least i am living in those cheap small house, additional security, although there’s no actual security. just that such houses does not seems attractive to them

they came knocking, but no reply, thinking must be miss kampua still in the bed, so they leave loh………

My house got malfunctioning doorbell lah but they wouldn’t know. People don’t normally walk-in to people’s house lor…but your story boleh pakai also
