Well too expensive even compared with other more beautiful beach resorts such as Langkawi, KK and even Phuket. This is because the hotel line in Damai has been monopolized by who else but greedy Holiday Inn! I was there several times to witness big crowd in lobby waiting to check in. I heard the rooms were not ready and housekeeping staffs still worked their asses in the rooms. What a poor service from a 5-star hotel! Damai is certainly overrated.
