Mitsu Tea House

Had breakfast at Mitsu Tea House this morning, courtesy of Cikgu Suituapui and family. His nephew so cute, I wanted to pinch those cheeks! 
Well, anyway, we had our dim sum upstairs which is air-conditioned. You can have your dim sum downstairs as well. Your preference. I reached slightly late and they already started without me. You should see the pile of empty baskets by Suituapui’s side *lari kuat kuat*
I took an eggtart
Then there was a basket of har kau
Not impressed. The har kau I had eaten at Ah Yat Abalone were much nicer! Then we took a basket of siew mai/sio bee
Now don’t be a sour grape! The appearance of the sio bee did no justice to the taste. It was quite nice by Sibu standard but I have eaten nicer ones. Then we took a basket of meatballs
The meatballs are huge! One meatball is enough to fill your stomach, well unless if you have Suituapui’s stomach lah. Then there was something new in the cart
Wrapped in seaweed, this sushi-wannabe dim sum taste great! The taste is strong as compared to the other dim sum we had.
So basically these are the few dim sum that are worth eating. The rest are so so but if you like to try them then go ahead and explore! Oh, and I did a review of Ah Yat Abalone Forum Restaurant, Genting and the yummy-licious dim sum that they have and also a dim sum place at Starhill Gallery, KL in my food blog. Go have a look!
