Do you know that if you hang out long enough in One Utama (read: 24/7) the chances are that you are more likely to bump into the Malaysian Dreamgirl than any other place?

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I bumped into the Malaysian Dreamgirl in One Utama doing one of their fashion shows. And no, I did not hang out in One Utama 24/7 if that’s what you are thinking!

If you haven’t already know, Malaysian Dreamgirl is a reality model search, ala American Top Model, in Malaysia. The difference is that the Malaysian Dreamgirl is being fully broadcasted via the internet.

Apart from ‘bumping’ into the girls, I was there to give my support to a fellow blogger friend whom I got to know personally, Ringo from cheeserland.com

Ringo, contestant #11

The girls were there since afternoon. When I saw Ringo, there were a lot of people surrounding each girls, mostly their family members. Cheddie (Ringo’s dog) was there. The girls were mingling about with the crews taking videos non-stop, which was annoying because they always stood in the view of Alvin’s DSLR lens after he got the best view of the girls.

Before the fashion show started, a DJ (whom I have forgotten the name) from RedFM host a series of Q&A as well as a couple of simple games to give out some goodies bags by the sponsors. I got 2 goodies bags

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, Malaysian Dreamgirl on the catwalk:

Eyna, contestant #4, with Victoria Becham’s hairstyle, was really focused in what she was doing. Her pair of long legs were of great advantage.

Cindy, contestant #3. I personally think that she did nothing outstanding in the show except being the subject of criticisms by fellow contestants (watch episode 7, there are 3 parts of the video criticizing her). She walked too fast on the catwalk and she hasn’t the height to be a model. But in the latest episode, she won the radio advertisement for AmBank NextG Prepaid Card, finally. One thing that I don’t understand is why did she cry so badly as if someone died when it comes to elimination rounds. But what I don’t understand most is that why some of the girls said that she is so fake when she cried and when she didn’t cry in the last elimination, they said she’s selfish. What the hell do they want lah? Cry also cannot, don’t cry also cannot! Poor Cindy, but I am no fan of hers! Muahaha!!!

I see miles and miles of legs @.@!!! Jay, contestant #7, also the tallest of them all, walked and posed well. She has the height and body of a model. Period!

Nadia, contestant #9, the ‘garang’-looking girl. Okay, she does nothing in the show except for looking garang (fierce). She does have a nice body though. But I am no fan of hers as well!

Adeline, contestant #1. In my humble opinion, I think she conquered the catwalk the best. She walked like a real model. Being tall, fair and having the look is all that’s in the package. What else do you need when she has a good personality as well? I have voted for her because I think she has the quality, not because I know her (I don’t know her also what).

Last but not least, pictures of my friend, Ringo:

She purposely looked over and smiled for Alvin’s camera whenever she catwalked to the front of the stage before looking away at the rest of the audience. We were standing on the right side of the stage, which can hardly get a nice shot of the girls looking over because none of the looked over but she did! Aboden? Why do you think we got her pictures so nicely?
