Damn Sarawakian! Praise Penangites!
Mar 9th, 2008 by Clare
That was the SMS I received from wa eh lau bu (my mother) after I told her that a lot of rockets are being set off in Penang but the rockets in Sibu could not even fly. Sitting near the radio for 2 hours and surfing around websites on the updates on the result of 12th General Election were never this exciting.
The result for Sarawak parliamentary seat:
“Miri - BN; Sarikei - BN (on recount); Sibu - BN; Lanang - BN; Bintulu - BN; Kota Samarahan - BN; Sri Aman - BN; Santubong - BN; Petra Jaya - BN; Stampin - BN; Serian - BN; Batang Lupar - BN; Batang Sadong - BN; Lubok Antu - BN; Betong - BN; Saratok - BN; Julau - BN; Sibuti - BN; Limbang - BN; Bandar Kuching - DAP”
WHY LAR SARAWAKIANS SO DAMN KIASI ONE?!!!!
Look at the rockets in Penang, soaring with pride! Sarawak so big and you guys only managed to fly ONE pathetic rocket??? Are you kidding me? Penang, despite being small, managed to show their dissatisfaction as a whole! They managed to show that enough is enough.
Well, Sarawakians, you guys had voted for it, that means you guys are happy with the current situation in Sarawak, no? You guys forgot flood, road condition, lanang bridge toll, and whatnots already is it? So easily being bribed wan! Enjoy being screwed hor? So don’t let me hear any complain for the next 5 years ok…Or else, SOMEBODY IS GONNA GET A HURT REAL BAD!!!

i tot they really did buy votes last time, 200 bucks per head, duno this time got or not.
Penang more Indians and Chinese…Sarawak more Ibans and Malays. How to fight?
sarikei won by BN by mere majority 51 votes, hence the recount. and those stupid independents (3!) just wrecked the rocket win.
=.=”
*askance*
Have u registered a s a voter, Clare? Why didn’t u come back to vote? Everyone can fly, mah! Book early…and can get as low as 99 sen (sometimes in the middle of the night). When everyone thinks it’s just one vote, that can make a lot of difference. Every vote counts!!!
first of all, BN did buy the swak ppl’s votes. also, all the postal votes went to BN thru dirty means. now the reason why bn did so well in swak is because they have too many gullible bumi supporters here, with the likes of PBB, SUPP, SPDP and PRS who r clearly more appealing to them. and if u see, most of the rural areas have been won by bn and some even uncontested. now these rural folks have either been clearly misinformed, ignorant or unaware of the current real situation. some random bumi bn guy can just go to his kampung and then talk rubbish/sh*t/crap and every single vote in those region would go to him. so obvious and typical. totally different from kuching. swak bumis paling suffer most becuz of bn. not one state in malaysia who suffers so much poverty and underdevelopment as cmpared to swak and sabah.. and yet we are the ones who hlp them win this time. im so angry and sad for my ppl. ONE DAY…. OUR BLARDY TAINTED CM PEK MO MUST GO DOWN REAL HARD.. AND BY THIS I MEAN HIS WHOLE FREAKIN LOUSY USELESS TAIB MAHMUD FAMILY!! GOD DARN IT THEY WILL
i agree with zouk… sadly and guiltily, i din went back to vote too, as many more of my peers, not to mention my siblings tim… and one of my classmates even mentioned she doesn’t want to vote hence no nid to register la… bf was to vote in sarikei but he din went back also, imagine if 50 more were like him, the score would have been equal… if not mistaken, some of those wins are quite marginal actually, eg sarikei (50+), sibu (5000+), miri (7000+)… couple all i mentioned above with bn’s dirty tricks as well as wat zouk mentioned, there we have it, the perfect winning combination for bn… sigh…
Go down to the real matters la clare, how many people voted in Sarawak? You can’t blame rocket neither can’t you blame everyone else.
You’re comparing Penang and Sarawak. Who’s the majority in Sarawak? Who’s the majority in Penang? Geographically Sarawak is very much bigger and don’t you think that makes things harder?
Here is very much about money, no money no talk. No money, no vote. I people will be saying yes, that’s the point of having graduates like you and me - to educate people on practicing their rights, tell them how important their votes are but in another corner how many of those Sarawakian graduates came back and vote? If all of them came back and vote - I could have been better.
Well, we might not topple them all and turn BN upside down but the least is maybe narrow down the margin.
And somehow, that ulu rejang votes … something fishy about it. Look at it from the better side, Sarikei at least managed to narrow it down to 51 votes. DAP could’ve won it if not because of those bozos la .. and for Bintulu, who is LIM?
But at least, Barisan National was denied A 2/3 Majority overall …
if no swk and sbh contibution, BN may corrupt. lolz…
So federal govt should scrap Koridor Utara and move it to Sabah and Sarawak, changing it to Koridor Timor!! Just a rambling thought, dont shoot me! He he he he he!
there is another koridor for sarawak .. i forgot the name .. i’ll be happy if they build a mini las vegas in bintulu .. so boring wan .. ha ha ha
if im not mistaken its sarawak corridor of renewable energy and bodohwi came to bintulu not too long ago around CNY time to launch that thing..bila mau election baru sibuk sibuk wanna do sumthing.. sure our “beloved” CM siphon some of the money feed his illigitimate kids and mistresses, what a devil yang bertopengkan manusia… KNNCCB!!
Why else do you think people want to go into politics, zouk? To serve the people? Dont talk cock! The ‘fringe benefits’ are what they’re after. Money is the root of all evil. Anyone thinks he/she can be a clean politician? Have to look for someone like gandhi or mother teresa! Or Penghulu Tawi Sili! U tink u qualify, zouk? When they dangle the carrots in your face, you think you’ll say no? Even the noble ones fall prey to the vultures out there eg in some countries, they’ve the Mafia (Note that l’m diplomatically avoiding local references) who’ll ‘make you an offer you cant refuse’! You either be a hero (and u know what happens to heroes) and go out there and do something about it or you learn to live with it! Talk is cheap!
*WWH has been flying loket the whole day edi!!!*
So song ar you. Hahahaha!!!
Talk is cheap but mind is expensive - makes your wallet fat and so is your head dude. It’s a game of hit and run and then I’ll hit you again unless ur a smart ass but usually smart ass just playin dumb.
I told suituapui this evening…..sarawakians got no balls! Muahahahaha!!!
Got balls also for decorations only, useless! But I have to agree with you!
I also start feeling a bit shame on my fellow Sarawakian. A little promises and a few hundreds of ringgit can make them switch the votings!
sarawakians just dumb and cheap. for rm50 or rm200 they are willing to be screwed for the next 5 years. let them be, just to bad for people like me and my family that do not vote based on ‘monetary offer’, we suffered together. enough said
They pay you RM200, in the next 5 years, they’re gonna suck more out of you. And the cycle goes on and on.
That’s true! And people there are so enjoying being screwed!
