Election Symptom Is Everywhere!
Mar 8th, 2008 by Clare
In a few hours time, the future of this country lies in the hands of the voters. In a few hours time, we shall see the changes, or not, in this country. In a few hours time, you are going to determine the future of your own country.
This 12th General Erection Election has seen more competitive, tougher and more dramatic than the previous ones. We can feel it. BN is worried, because their comfort zone has been rocked, indicating that they are sitting too comfortably in their chairs. The oppositions, namely DAP, PKR, PAS, has gone all out to shake the citizens up (literally) a little to make them realized and aware of how screwed up their country has become.
Banners, flags and whatnots are hung along highways, roadsides, lamp posts, billboards, bridges, almost everywhere! Even the newspapers are not spared. There is the word ‘Election’ splattered all over the newspaper, front to back, mercilessly blinding the vision of readers. Yes, because of that, I did not bother to read the papers these few days. The most I did was flipped through the pages.
The election symptom has indeed crept into every corner of the country. It started off with the yellowman who will follow you everywhere:
And followed by flying voters:
I didn’t know that Air Asia is contesting… Think about it, Air Asia=Aeroplane=Flying. That means most probably they will fly your aeroplane lar (FFK/Fong Fei Kei)
Oh, I rather tune in to JJ and Rudy for breakfast though…Being fed with ‘Election’ early in the morning is not good for your health ler…
Just when you think you’ve made the right choice by crossing your choice, think again…
When I answer correctly in school, teacher put a ‘tick’ and if I answer wrong, teacher put an ‘X’. So I think this is the correct answer lor… ![]()
