Play Station (1, 2 and 3) have not existed yet. Apart from amusing ourselves with all the TV Shows, we have TV Games.
The 80s’ Babies, I am sure, will remember this:
Micro Genius
We did not use DVD nor memory card for the games. We did not have the 3D animation. We used the cassette-like thing for different games.
The most memorable games that I loved to play back then was none other than:
Super Mario Brothers!
Contra
The First Stage - Jungle (I always managed to finish all the 8 stages of the game 
)
Base Ball
I was an expert back then, in TV games only lah 
Balloon Fight - pop as much balloon as possible and protect your own balloon(s)

I have another cartridge for Street Fighter game.
Who does not remember Street Fighter? Famous characters like Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun Li, E Honda, Vega, Blade, Dhalsim, Sagat, Blanka, etc wasn’t uncommon.
The game would look something like this:

I always used Chun Li. Sometimes I’d use Ken or Ryu, depending on which one my brother chose.
When playing TV Games all day long was not encouraged as they would “burn the TV”, as claimed by most parents, we’d resort to portables:

Last time save shit to get them la… Now store at my drawer don’t know how long liaw. Hahahahha… Super mario, I can close my both eyes to control the whole 1-1 stage la… Contra, whole series only 8 stages 
Balloon fight, don’t like it… Hard to control them… Street Fighter, too many version back then. Brick game worth less than RM10 now also

Video games a.k.a. TV games!!
My mum used to be as addicted to it as much as me and my bro. Until it got spoilt because everytime we pulled the remote too much, the TV game controller would fall to the ground :/

WOW~!~!! another SHOT~!! MARIO~!!! mario is the best… i manage to finish it in 30 minutes time, tho some ppl can finish it in 10 minutes. shit.. haha.. contra got three version also… baloon, i was eaten by JAWs… as for Street fighter.. haih.. too many fake version, till those vega and ballack name is terbalik d.. haha..
Another game i played, robotcop, ninja turtle, china dragon, and the best is islander.. haha..

there is a cheat. u press a button together with the start button. i forgot which button. either the select button, A or B. anyway, it did give u 30 lives instead of normal 3 lives. and u get to choose wat ammo to use thruout the game too. means, u can die and still equipped wif tat ammo when u revive.
ps: i like the S ammo.

lol.. contra! yeah got cheat code where you need to press certain combination of buttons then you will get 30 lives. street fighters, china dragon, islander.. haha! micro genius and sega game consoles were popular back then.
hmm, i used to spend my time hanging at video game arcade (neh.. you paid RM1 per hour to play a game of your choice) and one day my mom found out. she went in to the shop and literally dragging me by the ears home.. haha! and after that, i became smarter.. i will make sure my mom was at work before i went out and play.. kah kah kah! bad kid.
