On the sidenote:
- Craving for pasta? Go over to my food blog.
- What the hell is wrong with PAS? Call to cancel Gwen Stefani’s concert because she potrays an image of obscenity? And the moral values of our youths will be destructed? What the eff is this idiot thinking?
TFK too much until the brain also shrink.- Namewee did NOT change or modify the lyrics. He sang the national anthem the way it should be, or rather better than what they put on RTM! Learn from him instead of punish him. Oh, idiots never learn hoh…so, never mind lah!
Did you remember I blogged about this some time ago?
The 3×3 Rubik’s Cube
No? Never mind. I am lazy to search for it now so I’ll just do a brief refreshment of your memory here. In my previous post, I simply showed how I solved the Rubik’s Cube.
Now I can solve it under 3 minutes.
The other day, while I was walking around Toys ‘R Us, touching, pressing, examining and observing some toys, this caught my eyes:
The 4×4 Rubik’s Cube!
The world seemed to stop at the moment. And then my kiasuism kicked in and I went: “OMG! OMG! I must have it!” and I bought it! So kiasu can die!
The 4×4 Rubik’s Cube is bigger and heavier than the 3×3. A 4×4 is not meant for speed-cubing as it is more fragile. The surfaces must be properly aligned before turning as they shatter easily. A slight additional joule of energy when turning the cube will break the whole thing. A 4×4 is more difficult to solve as it involves more steps and formulas than the 3×3.
I only managed to solve ONE layer so far -___-|||:
[UPDATE: 3×3 Rubik’s Cube has been a popular toy since long before your my time. Only recently, 4×4 Rubik’s Cube is designed with improved mechanisms which are more suitable for people like me who can easily break it. Since they look alike, people tend to mistake a 3×3 for a 4×4]

4×4 ?? o_O
wow…
but im sure u can solve it soon…
Not as soon as the 3×3
jiak pa bo su zho.. ha ha
Beh si jiak pa bo su zho…si kiang lang jiak pa zho eh su…
Har…all the while you talking abt 3×3 cubic kah? I thought 4×4 is standard. chehh
3×3 is illegal for above 5 yrs old
3×3 is the standard wan. Smarter people play with 4×4 and the poh-fessional play with 5×5
Since my pampers-wearing days, I only see people playing 4×4 in my kampung. No other types ever seen.
Maybe this is the new standard. You see, it doesn’t help in selling if that little thing challenges people’s ego too much…haha
Then ur kampung people are the smarter lot lor…
