Having idiots as colleagues is FATAL

- On my way to KL last week, a conversation with a stranger at Alor Setar bus terminal followed:
Stranger: You mix kah?
Me: Mix macam mana?
Stranger: Cina dengan Siam lah…
Me: I 100% Chinese lah!
Stranger: Tipu lah!

How often has family/friends/girlfriends/boyfriends advised/nagged about how hazardous cigarettes, caffeine, oily or sugary food can be to your health? Add one more hazardous material to your list now: Idiots!
In Bolehland, not only working with idiots can kill you, but dealing with stupid people every day can be deadly! For example, calling up Streamyx (?) This conversation took place when a friend of a friend called up Streamyx to complain:
FOAF: I was wondering why my Streamyx is down…bla bla bla
Streamyx: Okay. You dah cuba restart you punya modem tak?
FOAF: Don’t give me all those nonsense! I’ve done everything thinkable and do-able but it is still down.
Streamyx: [obviously cannot speak English] Okay. So wat window you wearing?
FOAF: *shocked* Huh? Errr…I WEAR Window XP...
Alright, back to idiots can kill, how are these elements connected? Well, first of all, we’ll look at the cause of death. Heart attack. We are well-aware of the causes of heart attack. STRESS is one of the top causes of heart attacks. And working with stupid people on a daily basis is one of the deadliest forms of stress. Therefore, those dopes can kill you!
How many times have you felt like banging your head against the wall when dealing with colleague(s) who does not understand simple instructions? How many times have you felt frustrated when a colleague screwed you up by doing everything that he/she is not supposed to do and ignoring things that he/she must? How often have you felt like slamming a colleague’s head against a truck when he/she does not know how to prioritize his/her tasks?
Someone kill me! I have, I mean, had worked with such colleague and nothing her superior said went through that thick but empty skull of hers! She can even get away with murder with a simple “I tak tahu”! That was how inefficient she can be! There were only two things that she is good at: EAT and BANG GANG!!! Fast and efficent. No need to be told twice! At that speed, she could easily win a 100 meter sprint in the Olympic Games despite being extremely obese!
With cigarettes, caffeine, sugary and oily food, we can cut down on them but how the hell do we cut down on the level of infinite stupidity that some people possessed so naturally? The longer and more often we mingle with them, we have high possibility of becoming them! They are none other than a stupidity risk to us! Pardon me, I have too much risk management over the past 2 years that almost everything that falls into my angle of vision can be a possible risk. LOL!!!
Any encounter with stupid people lately? On a daily basis? In the bus/LRT/public transport? On the highway? At the office? In a restaurant?
Ah…the people at streamyx has become my frens the past week.
The suggestion I hate most is “Try resetting ur modem”. KNN, u think I straight away called u kar?? Of course lar, I did that and this and that, only I call u mah!
Heh! Their favourite suggestion has been top of our most hated list.

Err…. The guy who smokes during a rainy day next to a traffic jam while standing behind me with the carcinogen filled air swept around me - a confirmed non-smoker for life.

Stupid Taxi indonesian MAN who are dumb enough to not go through a traffic jam in the middle of downpour and give this soaked through girl a stupid excuse to get rid of her.
Stupid taxi guy who thinks Titiwangsa UKM is Setiawangsa and OVERCHARGED ME for a supposed to be 5 minutes ride because he wind up in the middle of nowwhere and blame ME.

I got an ex colleague also always asking stupid question. When he saw I work then he asked ‘u working ah?’ When I online he’ll asked again… ‘u online ah?’ When I discuss with contractors about work problems, he’ll asked… ‘u got lubang with them ah? got any for me?’ Tiu… he thinks I so greedy to makan duit ah? I never did it at all! U say la… vomit blood or not? Someore he is doing Phd, I wonder how he gonna success it, he die die also choose to do in UK, he can’t event speak proper English at all… now he complains to me hard to catch up and people there not friendly with him. I really want to hit wall la.
