Looks like Malaysia preparing for winter season soon with those long pants and shirts. For the best interest of students, you will catch cold if you wear too short...haha. Wonder is it that hard to find an excuse instead of providing a baseless claim. Instead of changing your poster, go spend your time to think of better excuses. At least students feel better with good reasons than a nice poster.

And there are a lot of other more significant issues for them to do and spend money on instead of printing wrong posters.

Hi Clare, been away for a while. Just a little de tour to my former university in the UK. Anyway, kind of cool to see something is really happening here in the country. I guess someone has made her statement heard. Well, it is about time for our education world to go further. We can no longer stay in the same place and practise the same old style. Well, I can see now that these people realise that our students will not go quietly into the night. They have their rights to voice out their opinions. Like I told you in my previous comments, students’ comfort is their first priority. Forget about the old ways of managing universities. People these days have changed. They are smarter now. But, that does not mean that students back then were any less smarter. In short, the world has changed thus we have to follow suit.

Funny thing is I always have this little thing in mind. I believe that whoever that plan things will never ever understand what they are planning. It takes the mass to experience it and to come back with a comment or two. Conclusion, the so called planners have to change the entire plan or perhaps to revamp the ideas. But, it is strange here in this little country that these planners would refuse to make any changes due to their stubborness and stupidity. Some resorted to crappy excuses and pretended to be innocent.

I agree to what ek said in the first comment. One must be prepared for the consequences of what one has done. However, I still believe that life without taking any risks is as good as NOT LIVING. We dare ourselves to challenge whatever ideas that we cannot conform to. To confound and confront this matter at the early stage is wiser. I believe that to point out someone’s mistake is a noble thing because this is how we all live in this world. We need to grow up and we need to develop. Unless if we refuse to do so…

The witchunt has begun. Last nights RTM2 news has a section which touches about irresponsible bloggers, how they spread lies, creating disharmony, bla bla…. They highlighted RPK’s writing and this dresscode issue as examples.
I salute your bravery.

Be prepared, too, for the consequences that come along with critical writing. UUM’s got the attention she deserves, and you’ve got yours. People in high offices who are now defending themselves, red-faced, will soon come knocking at the “culprit’s” window. These people do not fancy questions, and it was certainly reflected in the way they answered, no, avoided the issue. Keep in touch, you guys have my support.

Yeah, we are aware of that as well. If they do something to us, we’ll definitely stand up for each other. It is our rights anyway. Thank you for your advise and support!
