When the class is too big…
Jul 13th, 2007 by Clare
One of my classes/subjects, Business Ethics, which is conducted at night, is a huge class of 506 students. With so many students cramped into a lecture hall, the lecturer will not have the time, energy or strength to pay attention to each and every one of the 506 students.
So, what did I (and some coursemates) do in a huge class???
- Sleep
- Blogging (if I bring my laptop, obviously I did not because the lecturer will notice it if you are the only one with laptop)
- Having dinner, eg. burger (That’s what a coursemate did!)
- Crap with friends
- Gossip
- Read interesting book (i.e. Joke book, comic, novel, self-help, etc)
- Trying to solve the Rubik’s Cube and curse if couldn’t solve it
- Solving Sudoku
- Doing homework from other subjects
- Read newspaper
- Eating snacks
- SMS-ing with a friend who is only two rows away from me
- Playing with my Megatron (I have yet to try this. Next class maybe…)
What I should be doing…
- Concentrate
- Listen to what the lecturer has to say
- Take notes
- Ask questions
AND WE STILL HOPE TO GET AN A FOR THIS PAPER! *wipes sweat*
