		<description>hi clare,&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;this is interesting. and considering that MUET's standard is not that high in the first place, it sure is worrying if graduates passed with band 1 or 2.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;i've sat for both MUET and IELTS, and the standards are worlds apart. or, continents apart (ok ok bad joke).&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;the ministry made me sat for MUET before i graduated, and it's useless as employers don't have a clue nor give a damn about MUET. i sat for the exam so i can graduate on time. and when i wanted to apply overseas i've to sit for IELTS pulak. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;so now, either they jack-up the standard of the exam, or raise the passing 'acceptable' band.</description>
